How to fake a well-rested, healthy look on those days when you may be feeling neither.
Note: This is not about no makeup, but about natural makeup.

Make Your Skin Glow  Wash your face gently but briskly, perhaps using a gentle scrub. Apply moisturizer, maybe a little extra, and sunscreen. Apply a little foundation with a brush to even out skin tone; or go with tinted moisturizer. Bonus points if you have time to use a primer before the foundation.

**Try: ANEW Cleansers designed for the Age & Condition of your Face. Pick the Perfect One for YOU!
**Try: ANEW Solar Advance for the ultimate in sun protection. It Protects & Renews your skin!

Conceal the Problems   Light-reflecting concealers work beautifully to hide under-eye circles. Place a few tiny dabs of product under your eyes, and dab with a sponge to blend (do not rub and pull at that sensitive under-eye skin!), and get ready to witness a huge difference.
For blemishes, steer away from light-reflecting concealers, which can actually draw attention to spots and such. Using a small-tipped concealer brush, lightly dab your blemish with a concealer to help make it vanish.
**Try: ANEW Age Transforming Concealer OR MARK Save The Day Anti- Acne Concealer Stick.

 Make Your Eyes Pop
Two words for you: Eyelash curler. Eyelash curlers can take you from looking half-asleep to completely alert. Sure, you could spend hours creating a perfectly blended, shadowed eye, but if you need to get out the door, curling your eyelashes and applying mascara will give go a long way to making you look wide awake.
**Try: MARK Lash All You Want High-Volume Mascara OR SuperExtend Eye Accents Mascara OR SuperShock Mascara...Many choices in types & colors

Add Color A wash of color on the cheeks and lips is the cherry on top of your fresh-faced. Cream blushes and cheek stains are a lovely way to give a long-wearing flush to the cheeks without looking garish or dated, and I love how they give you that just-in-from-the-cold flush.
As for your pout, sheer lip glosses and lipsticks are your best bet for ensuring a natural finish.
**Try: Be Blushed Cheek Color OR MARK Just Pinched Instant Blush Tint
**Try: Glazewear Lip Gloss OR SuperShock Liquid Lip Shine OR MARK Glow Baby Glow OR the Newest Shine Attract Lipstick with built-in gloss.

See how the definition of Beauty has changed throughout the years.
What do You think?
Timeline
Ancient Times: The names of many powerful, beautiful women are still spoken of today.  Their stories are legendary not only because of their beauty, but the lasting impressions they left on the world through the power they possessed
1900's, around the turn of the century, we had the full-figured Gibson Girls.
1920's the Flappers appeared who were a little thinner.
1940's, during the war years, the curves came back along with the Pin-Up Girls.
1960's women were again trying to change their image from "wife & mother" and the Stick-Thin models such as Twiggy, came on the scene.
1970's the Sexual Revolution continued and Farrah Fawcett brought us back to the fuller figure.
1980's saw us in a Prosperity cycle and Cindy Crawford appeared on the scene as one of the first supermodels.  During this same time, along came the fitness craze plus the push for all-out body-building with the cry of "I want buns of steel".
1990's began the "deprived" look with Kate Moss's waif-like body leading the way until she was dethroned, for a short while, for her use of heroin.
2000's we all know where we are now...counting calories, sweating to the oldies, midnight runs, and everything else we try to work in to our schedules just so we might live up to some image of an air-brushed model or celebrity in a magazine. Guess what gals, 95% of them look  just like you or me without all the makeup and the touch of the editing geek that works for the publication that took the pictures.  The rest of them have gone under the knife so many times they have lost count OR they are in their teens or early 20's when we too looked as good..if not better.

It's time to stop & think about just "WHO" is making the decisions on how "WE" should look.  And, if there is a beauty dicator out there...just "why" are we listening to him?  We need to just take a deep breath, relax & do the very best with what we have been given by our Creator.

Today there are so many women who go to such extremes trying to achieve society's opinion of beauty.  However, if we only glance back at history we are told of beautiful women in ancient times that were so powerful that their fame still reaches out to us today.  Yes, they were beautiful, but was it all skin deep?  I don't think so!  Were they really "beautiful" OR did they just give the illusion of beauty because they thought of themselves as beautiful  and powerful.  They had a inner beauty & power that transformed them into legendary figures.  You can still do the same today.

Remember, there is "great power" in thought (positive & negative) and those thoughts you have about yourself are communicated to anyone you meet and may determine just how beautiful "they" think you are.  We need to first look on the Inside before we even consider the Outside to determine our true worth!
